Brides Venues is a wedding venue concierge based in Bali, Indonesia. We list 136 wedding venues in Bali, elsewhere in Indonesia, Thailand, Italy and France. We are not the venue: we work between you and the venues, so you have one point of contact from your first question to the day.

What does it cost to use Brides Venues?

Accepted Answer

Enquiring and receiving a proposal cost nothing. You pay the prices in your proposal, and nothing is booked or charged until you choose a venue and say yes.

What happens after I enquire?

Your concierge replies within one working day, usually on WhatsApp from +62 822 2777 2798. We then ask each venue you like for your date and the figures for your guest count — venues usually answer in one to three working days — and send one proposal with their real prices and a thread for your questions.

Where do your prices come from?

From each venue's own wedding packages and rate cards. Where a venue prices by guest count, the venue page shows the price for your number. Tax, service and the venue's own fees are shown where the venue states them.

How far ahead should we book a wedding venue?

For the most requested venues, 12 to 18 months ahead — longer for summer dates in Europe and for peak dry-season weekends in Bali.

What should we check before choosing a venue?

Accepted Answer

Guest capacity for a seated dinner, the price for your guest count, what the package includes, the venue's curfew and noise rules, its rules for outside suppliers, a rain plan, and where your guests will stay. Each venue page sets out its own house rules.

How do we know a venue fits our guest list?

Every venue page shows its capacity, and "Priced for your guest count" lists only the packages that hold your number. If none does, your concierge asks the venue for a quote.

What is usually included in a wedding package?

It varies by venue: some packages cover the ceremony only, others the reception, food and drink credit, décor and rooms. Each package on a venue page lists its own inclusions — anything not listed is quoted separately.

We list 112 venues in Indonesia — Bali, Yogyakarta, Moyo Island and Lombok. Most are in Bali: clifftop estates in Uluwatu, beachfront villas, and river-valley estates around Ubud.

Bali prices are usually subject to local tax and service.

Do we need a permit to marry in Indonesia?

It depends on the ceremony. A legal marriage needs documents from your embassy and a religious ceremony; a symbolic ceremony is simpler. Many venues also charge a local community (banjar) permit, shown in their house rules. Your concierge explains what applies to you.

Are there cultural considerations for a Bali wedding?

Yes. Respect local customs and temple dress codes, and the community rules on events and noise — venues set curfews and music limits accordingly.

You will need passports, birth certificates and a Nulla Osta (certificate of no impediment) from your embassy. A civil ceremony is performed by the mayor or a delegated officer.

Each venue's own terms set out cancellation and refunds, and your proposal shows them before you pay anything. If a venue cancels, your concierge works with you on the refund due under those terms and on another venue for your date.
